Timeless – a nostalgic photoshoot with Cameron

My shoot with Cameron came about in such an interesting way. I met Cameron at a local live music venue in Greenville, South Carolina, called The Radio Room – I instantly knew I had to ask her to shoot.

Months prior, I thrifted a nightgown from the 1960’s, I had a vision for the shoot, but no location. About a year or so went by, and I found myself at an estate sale for the first time. I walked upstairs and found the most beautiful wood paneled room, next to a bright red bathroom with rose wallpaper – a nostalgic dream.

With some help from the listing relator, I got permission from the family to shoot in the home, which I felt like was an ode to their mom – the homeowner.

I thrifted the perfect pair of baby yellow heels, and a baby blue chair with tiny pink roses as a prop. The scene felt like a moment of the past – exactly what I wanted. It is so rare to find a home that has not been renovated since the late 1900’s. There is something so beautiful about preserving the past. I was so glad I got to capture a few corners of this home’s beauty before it was passed off to it’s new owners – such a gift.
