Behind-the-Scenes of Crockpot’s Campaign with Cole Walliser

I had the opportunity to capture some behind-the-scenes while on set for Crockpot’s 50th Anniversary ‘While It Simmers’ Campaign featuring Cole Walliser.

The film, concepted and executed by EP+Co., produced by Charlotte Steadman, and directed by Danny Cory, told the story about all that you can accomplish while your Crockpot is at home, simmering. We started the day at 6:00am, capturing some b-roll of Cole driving down a winding Malibu road, before heading to the beach for a surf session.

We had to lay 2×4 pieces of wood, one by one, while Cole slowly inched his G-Wagon truck onto the beach to capture some of the shots you’ll see below, so that the car would not get stuck in the sand. We grabbed the surfing shots, and spent the rest of the day in a studio in downtown LA.

It was a full 12 hour shoot day, but the finished product made it worth it – you can watch it here.

The photos below were shot on 35mm film.
